Foxx: Integrating Multimodality a Primary Transportation Issue
Foxx told the U.S. Conference of Mayors on Jan. 23 that
integrating all modes of transportation will be among the defining
transportation issues of the 21st century. Expanding cities and suburbs need
more mobility choices, he said.
FTA Awards $886.3 million to NY MTA
FTA has awarded $886.3 million to the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority to repair and rebuild infrastructure that was damaged in Hurricane Sandy. The grant builds on an initial allotment of $193.9 million announced by FTA in March.
