APTA Holds Webinar on DOT's Proposed Rulemaking

APTA held the first in a series of five webinars on Oct. 24, to collect member input and draft the association's position on FTA's Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) on safety plans, asset management, and state of good repair efforts. The webinar, which drew more than 110 APTA members, focused on public transit agency safety plans. The sheer size of the ANPRM, encompassing 123 questions -- often multiple-part -- led APTA to establish an entire webinar series devoted to crafting its response. Upcoming webinar information, as well as drafts coming out of each call, are available on APTA's website
